The excellent legal representation delivered by the North Carolina law firm of Hardison & Cochran continues to receive positive recognition. For the second year in a row, Hardison & Cochran, Attorneys at Law appears in Best Law Firms, the annual ranking compiled by U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers.
The law firms that are named in the 2016 edition of Best Law Firms list are recognized for “professional excellence with persistently impressive ratings from clients and peers,” according to a press release from U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers.
Hardison & Cochran, which represents North Carolina workers seeking benefits after on-the-job injuries, is named to the list in the field of Workers’ Compensation—claimants for the Raleigh metropolitan area.
“We are committed to delivering personalized service and excellent results for each and every client we serve,” said Benjamin T. Cochran, managing partner of Hardison & Cochran, Attorneys at Law. “We appreciate that other attorneys in our field recognize the high quality of legal representation that we are providing.”
The 2016 rankings are based on an evaluation process that includes client and lawyer evaluations, peer review from leading attorneys and additional information provided by firms as part of a formal submission process. The 2016 rankings are based on the highest number of client ballots and highest number of participating firms on record.
To qualify for inclusion in the list, a law firm must have at least one lawyer named in the latest edition of The Best Lawyers in America©, which recognizes the top 4 percent of practicing attorneys in the United States. Firms are eligible for ranking in the categories in which they have lawyers named.
Benjamin T. Cochran, managing partner of Hardison & Cochran, is listed in both the 2014 and 2015 editions of The Best Lawyers in America© in the field of Workers’ Compensation Law—claimants.
The 2016 Best Law Firms listing is the latest among numerous honors that Hardison & Cochran and its attorneys have received. Earlier this year, two attorneys with Hardison & Cochran were singled out by the Super Lawyers publication for recognition.
Mr. Cochran was recognized as a 2015 North Carolina Super Lawyer and partner J. Adam Bridwell was honored as a 2015 North Carolina Rising Star. Cochran and Bridwell are both board certified specialists in North Carolina workers’ compensation law.
Super Lawyers selects outstanding attorneys in more than 70 practice areas who are highly regarded by their peers and have attained a high level of achievement. No more than 5 percent of the attorneys in a state receive the Super Lawyers recognition each year and no more than 2.5 percent are chosen as rising stars.
