Mr. Cochran and Mr. Whittington both focus on workers’ compensation law and represent injured workers who are having difficulty obtaining workers’ compensation benefits after sustaining serious work-related injuries or illnesses in North Carolina.
Most employers in North Carolina are required to carry workers’ compensation insurance to protect employees. Workers’ compensation insurance is intended to pay the cost of medical care of injured employees and replace a portion of workers’ lost income after an on-the-job injury or illness. Sometimes, however, businesses and insurance administrators dispute valid workplace injury claims and injured workers need help obtaining the full benefits they should receive according to law.
Both attorneys have previously been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America.
